ContentsClaims LLC uses cookies and similar client-side storage technologies (collectively, "cookies") as described in this policy.
Similar Technologies: In addition to cookies, we may use browser localStorage, sessionStorage, and pixel tags to support authentication and security functions. We do not currently use browser fingerprinting (canvas fingerprinting, WebGL fingerprinting, or font enumeration) for tracking purposes.
Server-Side Tracking: ContentsClaims also collects certain information server-side — including your IP address and approximate geolocation — on each request to our servers, independently of cookies. See our Privacy Policy §1 for details on IP address collection and use.

Strictly Necessary: These cookies are essential for the Service to operate and cannot be disabled. They enable core functionality including secure login session management and protection against cross-site request forgery attacks. Stripe's strictly necessary cookies are required to process payments securely. You cannot opt out of strictly necessary cookies while using the Service; doing so would prevent the Service from functioning.
Preferences: Preference cookies allow the Service to remember choices you have made — such as staying logged in — to provide a more convenient experience. These are not required for the Service to function. You may disable preference cookies via your browser settings; doing so will not prevent you from using the Service but will require you to re-enter login information on each visit.
Analytics: Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) help us understand how visitors interact with the Service by collecting information about page views, session duration, and navigation patterns. This information is used in aggregate and anonymized form to improve the Service. Google Analytics data is transmitted to and stored by Google LLC. You may opt out of analytics cookies — see §5.
Marketing / Advertising: The _gcl_* cookie is a Google Click Identifier used for Google Ads conversion attribution. It links ad clicks to Service activity and shares data with Google LLC for advertising reporting purposes. This is a marketing and advertising cookie, not an analytics-only cookie. You may opt out — see §5. This cookie is not required for Service functionality.
Stripe, Inc.: Stripe sets cookies for fraud detection and secure payment processing. Stripe's cookies are strictly necessary when you complete a payment and cannot be disabled for payment flows. Stripe's data practices are governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy at stripe.com/privacy. ContentsClaims is not responsible for Stripe's cookie practices.
Google LLC (Analytics): ContentsClaims uses Google Analytics 4 to understand Service usage. Google Analytics places cookies that collect anonymized usage information. This data is transmitted to Google LLC and subject to Google's Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy. To opt out of Google Analytics tracking, see §5.
Google LLC (Advertising — _gcl_*): The Google Click Identifier cookie is set by Google Ads in connection with any paid advertising campaigns ContentsClaims runs. This cookie shares data with Google LLC and may feed into Google's advertising systems. This is an opt-outable marketing cookie — see §5.
Google (OAuth/Gmail Connection): When you connect a Gmail account or use Google Sign-In, Google may set authentication-related cookies governed by Google's Privacy Policy. ContentsClaims does not control these cookies.
Browser Settings: Most browsers allow you to view, block, or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking all cookies will prevent the Service from functioning (strictly necessary cookies are required). Below are instructions for common browsers:
Do Not Share My Personal Information (California CPRA): The _gcl_* Google Ads cookie results in the sharing of your browsing activity with Google for cross-context behavioral advertising, which constitutes "sharing" personal information under CPRA. You have the right to opt out of this sharing. To opt out: (a) contact privacy@contentsclaims.com with subject line "Do Not Share My Personal Information"; or (b) enable Global Privacy Control (GPC) in your browser — see below. Opting out blocks advertising cookies but does not affect essential or analytics cookies.
Global Privacy Control (GPC): ContentsClaims honors the Global Privacy Control (GPC) opt-out signal for California residents and other applicable users. When ContentsClaims detects a valid GPC signal from your browser, marketing and advertising cookies (including _gcl_*) will not be set during your session, consistent with CPRA §1798.135. GPC does not disable strictly necessary cookies (session, Stripe). To use GPC, install a browser extension or browser version that supports the GPC standard (see globalprivacycontrol.org).
Google Analytics Opt-Out: Install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, or use your browser's cookie controls to delete and block _ga and _ga_* cookies from google-analytics.com.
Google Ads / Marketing Cookie Opt-Out: To opt out of Google advertising cookies including _gcl_*, visit Google's ad settings at adssettings.google.com, or use your browser's cookie controls to delete and block _gcl_* cookies.
Industry Opt-Out Tools: You may opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies by visiting the Digital Advertising Alliance at aboutads.info/choices or the Network Advertising Initiative at networkadvertising.org/choices. These tools manage opt-out preferences for participating advertising networks.
Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and other states with applicable privacy laws have the right to opt out of cookies and tracking technologies used for non-essential purposes (analytics and advertising). You may exercise this right using the browser controls and opt-out tools described in §5.
ContentsClaims honors the Global Privacy Control signal as a valid opt-out mechanism for applicable state privacy laws. We do not condition access to the Service on your acceptance of non-essential analytics or advertising cookies.
Non-essential cookies (analytics and advertising) are not set until you have had an opportunity to review this Cookie Policy. Strictly necessary cookies (session management, Stripe payment processing) are set immediately upon use of the Service as they are required for security and functionality.
The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) has not established universal technical standards for a legacy "Do Not Track" (DNT) browser signal. ContentsClaims does not currently respond to the DNT signal as a standalone mechanism. However, ContentsClaims does honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, which represents the current privacy-respecting standard for opt-out signals — see §5.
ContentsClaims may update this Cookie Policy periodically to reflect changes in the cookies we deploy, updates to third-party services, or changes in applicable law. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the Policy was last revised. Material changes will be communicated consistent with our Privacy Policy's notice provisions.
